18th Annual Southern Heritage Classic Fashion Show and Brunch
This event held each September is our premier function for the year. This Fashion Show and Brunch is a part of the Southern Heritage Classic produced by Fred Jones and is another opportunity for us to share with the community our goals and our achievements. Patricia A. Walker Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is provided annually to deserving women seeking to enhance their educational paths by attending college. Each year recipients are chosen from traditional and non-traditional paths and presented scholarships at the Fashion Show and Brunch. DOWNLOAD SCHOLARSHIP PACKET

Financial/Wealth Management Workshop
This workshop is geared towards financial education to advocate financial independence and debt management of women and others in our community. This program is a fundraiser and is also a part of our economic development goal. CLICK HERE TO VISIT MISSISSIPPI BLVD SITE

“Young Women of Excellence” Conference
This annual conference focuses on reaching the needs of young women between the ages of 13-19 by providing opportunities and strategies to assist them in developing problem solving skills, become critical and creative thinkers, and positive in their thinking about themselves and others. Additionally, this conference provides information and literature to parents on scholarships, preparing their child for college and other professional schools and some tips on communicating more effectively with their children. HIV-AIDS Awareness Billboards
In 2006, NCBW, Memphis Chapter unveiled 6 billboards that highlighted our struggle as women and as a community with HIV-AIDS. We provided information on HIV-AIDS at the “Young Women of Excellence” conference. This was part of our Health initiative.

Domestic Violence Initiative
This initiative gave NCBW, Memphis Chapter the opportunity to partner with the District Attorney’s office to combat domestic violence through working with hair salons in the city.

“Dolls-for-Dolls”
Donated Dolls and other Christmas gifts are provided to recipients of the Girls, Inc. program annually. CLICK HERE TO DONATE

Hope House
NCBW, Memphis Chapter recognizes the needs of the Hope House and donates annually in order to provide support of their mission to improve the quality of life of HIV-impacted children and their families by addressing their educational, social, psychological and health needs. ly. Taste of the Islands Fundraiser
This annual island themed fundraiser, not only provides an evening of island events and fun, it also allows attendants to support the Patricia Walker Scholarship.

Black and Gold Gala
This event recognizes the efforts of the membership of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. – Memphis Chapter.

Legends Luncheon
This event recognizes the valiant efforts of women of color in the Shelby County that exemplify excellence in the areas of economics, health, and education in the community.
